Biography

• Osama Ibrahim is currently the Head of Nephrology department at New Mansoura General Hospital (International) - Mansoura – Egypt. He is ISN Education Ambassador, Vice president of Dakhlia Nephrology Group (DNG) , Egypt , Coordinator of peritoneal dialysis program in Egypt, Coordinator of nephrology fellowship program in new Mansoura General hospital ( International ) - Mansoura- Egypt and Nephrology consultant for Dakahlia medical directorate - Ministry of health – Egypt. Creation of strong program in Mineral Bone disease especially Parathyroidectomy in cooperation with University of Sheffield in united kingdom through prof.Ahmed Halawa and surgical department in new mansoura general hospital ( International ) through the sister renal center program of International society of nephrology. Publications of two books in arabic language with Dr. Doaa Hamed in nutrition in kidney diseas and fasting Ramadan in renal patients.Publications of two books in arabic language with Dr. Doaa Hamed in nutrition in kidney diseas and fasting Ramadan in renal patients.

Research Interest

Interested in continuous medical education specially( CME ) in nephrology field and the areas of interest are Peritoneal Dialysis ( PD ) ,Acute Kidney Injury ( AKI ) , Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy ( CRRT) , Intervental nephrology , Mineral Bone Disesse in Chronic Kidney Disease (MBD-CKD ) , kidney transplantation in addition to nursing and patient education .
